The Clinical Research Nurse, Intermittent Schedule role is onsite at Parexel’s Glendale, CA unit. The stated base pay range is $40–$47 per hour. The Early Phase Clinical Unit supports development of new medicines through early-phase and first-in-human trials. The role exists to provide participant care and support compliant study conduct. It administers study compounds, monitors participant health under trial protocols, completes study assessments and documentation, and advocates for participants during clinical research.

What you'll do

• Support SOPs and Good Clinical Practices
• assume patient-care and study-conduct assignments
• ensure study tests and eligibility requirements are completed
• assess, monitor, record, and report participant conditions and reactions
• collect and enter study data
• perform or arrange phlebotomy, urine collection, sample preparation, storage and shipment, and drug dispensing
• maintain study documentation
• and act as a participant advocate.

Why this role

Intermittent position with no guaranteed hours; approximately two weeks of weekday training from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; afterward, approximately 20 hours per week and two to three weekend shifts per month, typically 12-hour shifts.
