SaaS Public Sector Proposal Manager

Job overview

The SaaS Public Sector Proposal Manager role is remote, with the posting ideally seeking one resource in the Pacific time zone and one in the Central time zone; pay is $31–$33 per hour. The role supports the Global RFx Center of Excellence’s public-sector bid-management capacity. The manager leads proposal development from planning through submission, coordinating contributors and producing tailored, compliant responses. Maintaining content libraries and improving bid processes helps the team respond effectively to public-sector opportunities for SaaS and PaaS solutions.

What you'll do

• Manage bids and develop responses to tenders, RFIs, RFPs, and other procurement documents
• create bid plans and schedules
• coordinate content from sales, solution engineering, security, legal, compliance, partners, and executives
• write, edit, and format response content
• track procurement amendments
• maintain proposal processes and content libraries
• develop win themes and executive summaries
• conduct post-bid reviews and identify process improvements.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of proposal or bid management experience and public-sector proposal management experience in the technology industry. Salesforce or similar cloud-platform knowledge and technical writing for SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS are required; APMP or PMP certification is desirable.
