The manager leads quality systems, supplier oversight, audits, and continuous improvement across battery manufacturing processes, directing the internal quality team and addressing defects and compliance risks throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Maintain the quality management system and compliance with IATF 16949 and customer standards
• analyze quality data, production capability, complaints, and process changes
• audit suppliers and lead improvement councils
• drive root-cause elimination for manufacturing defects
• coordinate battery failure analysis and reliability testing
• oversee validation for new projects
• review product designs
• support continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, Six Sigma, and statistical process control
• qualify suppliers and review performance
• coordinate launches with engineering, manufacturing, and customers
• maintain quality records and reports
• assign and coordinate subordinate work
• promote workplace safety.
