Senior Product Compliance Engineer

The Senior Product Compliance Engineer role is onsite in San Jose, CA. The base salary range is $134,700–$215,500 per year, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses. The role supports product safety activities for Teradyne’s Compute Test Division and collaborates with development teams supporting Communications Solutions and MultiLane. The engineer leads product safety and electromagnetic compatibility compliance work so products meet applicable standards and certification requirements. The role integrates compliance planning, risk assessment, testing, documentation, and engineering guidance throughout product development and change review.

What you'll do

• Define applicable product standards and certifications by region
• develop compliance plans and safety/EMC test plans
• participate in design reviews and lead risk assessments
• coordinate internal and external testing
• conduct product safety analysis and provide recommendations
• prepare Constructional Data Forms and maintain test reports and technical construction files
• review product changes for approval impacts
• coordinate EMC validation and track non-conformances in JIRA
• mentor junior compliance engineers.
