What you'll do

• Operate yard trucks, terminal tractors, or shunt trucks to move and stage trailers and containers
• spot trailers at assigned dock doors
• complete pre- and post-shift inspections
• report maintenance needs and safety concerns
• maintain a clean and safe yard
• coordinate movements with supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers
• maintain movement records
• assist with sealing, chocking, and landing gear adjustments as needed.
