The Medical Technologist (ASCP), Clinical Lab role is onsite in Leawood, KS; pay is $29–$41 per hour, with night and weekend differentials and $5,000 relocation assistance. The role supports the general laboratory and dedicated hospital Blood Bank at a 190-bed acute care hospital. The technologist performs laboratory testing and manages pre- and post-analytic workflows, including quality control and result reporting. The role also supports Blood Bank operations, equipment readiness, staff training, and regulatory compliance to help provide accurate and timely laboratory services.

What you'll do

• Perform specimen accessioning, collection, and processing
• conduct waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing under CLIA ’88
• verify and report results, investigate unexpected results, and monitor daily quality control
• perform compatibility testing and antibody screening and prepare blood components
• maintain and monitor laboratory equipment and reagent inventory
• assist with onboarding and competency mentoring
• participate in quality assurance, method evaluations, and regulatory compliance.
