Tactical Security Officer

The Tactical Security Officer position is onsite in Flagstaff, AZ. Compensation is $20.01–$29.64 per hour. The officer primarily serves in the Emergency Department and supports safety across the healthcare campus. The role responds to violent or dangerous incidents, uses de-escalation and tactical skills, and coordinates with law enforcement and medical staff. It also supports patrol, incident investigations, documentation, and the safety of patients, employees, and visitors.

What you'll do

• Patrol facility buildings and grounds
• respond to emergency and disaster alerts
• assess incidents and determine appropriate responses
• use verbal de-escalation and workplace violence mitigation skills
• serve as a law-enforcement liaison during critical incidents
• assist medical staff with disturbed patients
• escort people as needed
• investigate incidents and prepare reports
• maintain shift logs and document fire and disaster responses
• follow safety, training, and regulatory requirements.
