What you'll do

  • Conduct field investigations to determine fire and explosion origin and cause
  • secure sites and preserve evidence
  • photograph scenes, interview witnesses, and maintain chain of custody
  • analyze debris, burn patterns, structural components, and electrical or mechanical systems
  • research applicable codes and standards
  • prepare detailed reports
  • provide expert testimony as needed
  • assist with client training and seminars.
