The Registered Nurse (RN), Labor and Delivery role is onsite in Opelousas, LA, with pay of $26.50–$39.75 per hour. The full-time hospital position offers day and night 12-hour shifts, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. Opelousas General Health System provides hospital care to patients from infancy through older adulthood. The RN provides direct nursing care using the nursing process, assesses patients, and collaborates with physicians and nurses on individualized care plans. The role also supports patient education, safety, documentation, advocacy, and the nursing unit’s quality and performance improvement work.

What you'll do

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
