Personal Care Attendant

Job overview

The Personal Care Attendant role is onsite in Glover, VT, providing services in clients’ homes and communities. Pay is $26 per hour. Live Well Home Care provides support to people who need assistance with daily care because of age, illness, or disability. The attendant follows each client’s written care plan to support daily living, household needs, companionship, and safety. The work also includes respite for families, errands and appointments as specified in the plan, and reporting unsafe conditions to the Branch Manager.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting
• support meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and companionship
• provide respite care according to care plans
• escort clients to appointments and errands
• observe clients and report unsafe conditions
• follow agency policies and care plans.
