Electrical Technician — Solar and Energy Storage

The Electrical Technician role is an onsite, field-based position in Columbia, SC, paying $25–$28 per hour. Renu Energy Solutions provides residential and commercial solar, battery storage, generator solutions, and post-installation service throughout the Carolinas. The technician assists with solar photovoltaic and energy storage installations, supporting safe, high-quality work that meets company standards and electrical codes. The role also contributes to field installation activities and equipment readiness alongside the electrical team lead and crew.

What you'll do

• Assist with solar PV and energy storage system installations
• install components according to electrical diagrams, specifications, and project requirements
• follow company standards, electrical codes, and safety requirements
• support the Electrical Team Lead and crew
• maintain vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory
• assist with electrical upgrades and rooftop work
• and complete classroom and hands-on field training. Some local travel between job sites is required.
