What you'll do

• Lead and develop the heavy civil estimating team and set estimating expectations. Drive bid strategy, project selection, and pricing
• evaluate opportunities through RFP review, scope analysis, and market research
• and contribute to go/no-go decisions. Oversee estimates for site development, underground utilities, roadway construction, and related scopes
• review plans, specifications, contract documents, and geotechnical reports
• validate costs and production assumptions
• lead final estimate reviews
• and ensure bids are complete and submitted on time. Direct quantity takeoffs, coordinate with project and field teams on constructability, support value engineering, mentor estimators, improve estimating processes and tools, and analyze historical costs and bid outcomes. Occasional travel for site visits, pre-bid meetings, project pursuits, and vendor meetings may be needed.
