Licensed Counselor – Substance Use Recovery

What you'll do

• Assess clients’ mental and physical health, addiction severity, and readiness for treatment
• develop and update personalized recovery plans
• facilitate individual sessions and group discussions
• manage crisis situations
• counsel family members about addiction and supportive strategies
• plan discharge and aftercare referrals
• maintain confidential clinical records and provide progress reports to courts or parole officers if required.
