What you'll do

• Receive and return calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance companies
• complete and send referral forms
• schedule appointments
• obtain telephonic approvals and pre-certifications when needed
• coordinate appointments with physicians and outpatient facilities
• document in Athena
• maintain daily contact and completion logs
• explain referral processes and insurance responsibilities to patients
• assist with front-office tasks
• participate in site-level quality improvement activities.
