What you'll do

• Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance
• service HVAC, compressors, facility equipment, and powered industrial vehicles
• troubleshoot extruders, conveyors, packaging equipment, and other machinery
• set up equipment for product changeovers and start-ups and monitor cleaning
• enter work-order and inventory information and log downtime
• use mechanical and electrical tools and diagnostic instruments
• respond to emergency line calls
• maintain a clean work area and communicate safety hazards.
