Multimodality Radiology Technologist at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. This is an onsite position in Kingwood, TX. Compensation is not specified. This role exists to perform all radiological procedures, routinely function in other areas of the imaging department, and collaborate with physicians and other disciplines.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with physicians, physicists, nursing units and other disciplines in making decisions regarding each patient’s needs for care.
  • Move x- ray equipment into specified position and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time distance.
  • Perform imaging in multiple areas (diagnostic, OR, fluoroscopy, etc).
  • Assist the physician in diagnostic procedures.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
  • Must be available to be onsite within 30 minutes of the call out when on call.

Accredited radiology technology program or equivalent
Experience
1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred
