What you'll do

• Assess and plan residents’ nutritional care in accordance with applicable standards and facility policies
• maintain accurate clinical nutrition documentation and progress notes within required timeframes
• participate in interdisciplinary care planning and communicate resident concerns and responses to interventions
• involve residents and families in care goals
• coordinate regular and therapeutic menus with the Food Service Director or Manager
• monitor food quality, temperatures, meals, nourishments, and supplements
• assist with diet orders, tray cards, admission diet histories, food service inspections, survey processes, purchasing, and nutrition services staff training.
