Personal Care Assistant

Job overview

The Personal Care Assistant role is onsite in clients’ homes in the San Dimas area, and compensation is $18–$22 per hour. Homewatch CareGivers of Glendora provides one-to-one in-home support focused on clients’ well-being. The assistant helps clients with daily living, mobility, and a safe home environment, while providing wellness reminders and documenting care. The role supports client dignity and well-being through individualized assistance and communication with an RN or Care Supervisor.

What you'll do

• Assist with transfers, bathing, grooming, and mobility devices
• change linens, do light laundry, and maintain clean, hazard-free living areas
• provide medication reminders and record basic vitals or observations
• engage clients in reading, reminiscence, or simple chair exercises
• document care notes and report changes to an RN or Care Supervisor.
