The Electrical Engineer, Industrial Equipment Design role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with travel up to 10% of the time. The stated annual salary range is $105,000–$135,000. At Tesco Controls, the engineering organization designs and applies electrical equipment supporting water and wastewater systems and critical infrastructure. The role develops complete electrical equipment packages adapted to project requirements while maintaining manufacturability, listing constraints, repeatability, and commercial discipline. It connects design work with manufacturing, testing, project execution, and customer support.

What you'll do

• Design electrical equipment and control packages using SolidWorks-based model workflows, approved components, and product standards
• develop schematics, layouts, bills of materials, submittals, and production engineering data
• apply standard products to customer specifications
• engineer power distribution and related electrical functions
• coordinate design validation with Manufacturing Engineering
• develop material takeoffs and engineering inputs
• participate in factory and customer witness testing, troubleshooting, field startup support, and closeout as assigned
• coordinate priorities and deliverables with Project Management
• participate in shop walks and communicate with manufacturing personnel.
