Metal Fabrication Surface Preparation and Coatings Specialist

The Metal Fabrication Surface Preparation and Coatings Specialist role is onsite in Clarksville, TN. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour. What you'll do

• Abrasive-blast metal surfaces
• mix and apply industrial paints and protective coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
• clean, degrease, and mask surfaces
• inspect coating coverage, thickness, and finish
• wear required PPE and follow safety procedures
• maintain and troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment
• monitor temperature and humidity
• organize materials and work areas
• interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• communicate progress and concerns.
