What you'll do

• Troubleshoot basic engine malfunctions and failures under supervision
• perform basic engine and related equipment repairs on trucks and trailers
• inspect completed work and road-test vehicles
• use computers and diagnostic tools
• complete service reports, timecards, and parts documentation
• follow HAZMAT and contamination-control rules
• maintain tools and equipment
• communicate progress to supervisors and customers
• complete assigned technician-path and safety training.
