This role supports network expansion and reliability by splicing fiber cables, troubleshooting connections, and completing terminations in field environments. The work includes fiber and ribbon splicing, light labor around hand-holes and manholes, and regular travel to job sites.
What you'll do
- Splice large- and small-count fiber optic cable, including ribbon fiber
- troubleshoot fiber cables
- perform ISP/OSP terminations
- work in and around hand-holes and manholes
- lift manhole covers and barricade open manholes
- work outdoors and at heights using ladders, platforms, poles, and bucket trucks
- travel regularly to job sites.

Why this role
