What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor critically ill pediatric patients
- monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, respiratory status, and other critical parameters
- administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, and specialized treatments
- manage and monitor ventilators, lines, drains, and other critical care equipment
- respond to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
- coordinate care with physicians and the multidisciplinary team
- educate and support patients’ families
- document assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
