The Research Scientist - Molecular Biologist is an onsite role based in Wright Patterson AFB, OH. This role exists to bridge microbiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology through independent BSL-2 laboratory research. It contributes to the team's goals by performing microbial physiology studies, molecular cloning, and recombinant protein expression to support national defense and biomanufacturing applications.

What you'll do

• Design and execute molecular biology protocols
• engineer proteins for novel functions
• perform upstream expression and downstream purification
• culture and monitor bacterial/fungal strains
• analyze complex biological data.
