Production Engineering Specialist – Electrical

Job overview

The Production Engineering Specialist – Electrical role is onsite in Houston, TX, with annual compensation of $75,000–$90,000. The position supports Trystar’s Sustaining Engineering team, which advances power solutions for customers across multiple industries. This role provides post-release engineering support on the production floor, helping resolve electrical design, safety, quality, and process issues. By working with assemblers, technicians, engineers, and Electrical Design Engineering, the specialist contributes production-floor insight and supports design corrections and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot electrical engineering issues on the manufacturing floor
• work with Electrical Design Engineering to address product design, safety, and quality issues
• support manufacturing, installation, and testing of electrical systems
• create or support ECO implementation
• interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• comply with electrical codes and regulations
• participate in root-cause corrective-action studies
• communicate operational issues to production leaders
• suggest and coordinate improvements
• support prototyping, piloting, and commercialization.
