The supervisor manages day-to-day operations of a Class 8 maintenance shop at Covenant Logistics. The role organizes repair work, develops shop team members, and ensures policies and repair practices are followed. By coordinating assignments, inventory, repair orders, and quality checks, the supervisor supports effective maintenance operations.

What you'll do

• Set schedules, sequences, and work assignments based on priorities, equipment quantity, and personnel skills
• evaluate and develop team members
• ensure shop policies, procedures, and repair best practices are followed
• open and close repair orders
• recommend or initiate personnel actions
• order, receive, and stock inventory
• perform repairs on Class 8 equipment
• inspect, test, and measure completed work against standards and repair requirements.
