Production Baker

Job overview

The Production Baker role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ. Pay is $19–$20 per hour. The baker supports Too Sweet Cakes’ kitchen production of daily and weekly orders for wholesale accounts. The role prepares ingredients, assembles baked products, and follows recipes and production procedures to meet order deadlines and quality standards. It contributes to consistent product quality through safe equipment use, sanitation, and careful monitoring of baking and storage.

What you'll do

• Communicate with the Back of House Manager
• follow recipes, procedures, equipment SOPs, weights and measures, and sanitation guidelines
• complete orders on time
• maintain a sanitary and organized work area
• monitor product storage and shelf life
• follow food safety and health regulations
• use mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens safely
• monitor baking and adjust as needed
• perform additional tasks assigned by the Back of House Manager.

Why this role

Schedule is 2:00 AM–10:00 AM or 4:00 AM–12:00 PM and may vary. A Food Handler’s Certificate is required; 1–2 years of baking or pastry experience is preferred but not required.
