Principal Systems Analyst

Job overview

The Principal Systems Analyst role is hybrid, with onsite work every other week for five days in Durham, NC. Compensation is $60–$70 per hour on a W-2 basis. The analyst supports workplace investing platforms for the client’s business, product, and engineering teams. The role translates business needs into actionable requirements and coordinates delivery across teams. It supports software initiatives through systems analysis, release coordination, agile ceremonies, dependency management, performance metrics, and coaching junior analysts.

What you'll do

• Serve as liaison among business, product, and development teams
• translate requirements into user stories, workflows, and specifications
• lead systems analysis for software initiatives
• coordinate releases and scaling ceremonies
• manage inter-team dependencies and sprints
• use agile metrics to measure and improve performance
• mentor junior analysts
• support backlog and story lifecycle management using Jira and related tools.
