Senior Engineering Technician, Test and Integration

The Senior Engineering Technician, Test and Integration role is onsite in Palm Bay, FL. The stated pay range is $35–$40 per hour on W-2. The role supports a test and integration team working on defense and space programs. The technician builds and integrates electromechanical assemblies and test equipment, troubleshoots integration issues, and coordinates lab assets and inventory. The work helps the program execute test activities and meet schedules and deliverables, while sharing technical expertise with junior technicians.

What you'll do

• Build, modify, and integrate electromechanical assemblies, test equipment, fixtures, racks, and tooling
• support wiring, termination, power-on, and component-level troubleshooting
• interpret and redline schematics, drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
• fabricate, repair, route, bond, and solder cable and wire harnesses
• perform continuity, resistance, and voltage checks
• coordinate lab assets, spares, consumables, inventory, assembly, and kitting
• mentor and train technician peers
• may coordinate build and integration activities as facilitator for the program Test Engineer.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent plus eight years of relevant experience, or an associate degree plus six years, is required. Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance is required; active clearance is preferred. Possible extension is stated for the 12-month duration.
