Machine Operator

Job overview

The Machine Operator role is onsite in Mount Juliet, TN, and pays $19–$21.05 per hour. The position supports a production line by operating equipment and helping production run efficiently and effectively. The operator loads materials, monitors equipment and product quality, and follows safety, food-safety, and production standards. The role also records operating data, reports issues, performs minor troubleshooting, and supports changeovers, cleaning, and team training as assigned.

What you'll do

• Operate assigned equipment and monitor processes
• load and unload machines and conveyors
• feed materials through production equipment
• inspect products for quality and safety
• transfer materials and finished products
• remove waste and machine attachments
• clean assigned areas
• participate in start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, and cleaning
• record observations and downtime
• perform minor troubleshooting and report malfunctions
• follow SOPs, GMPs, food-safety, and safety policies.
