What you'll do

• Develop the New Donor Acquisition department’s systems, workflows, and best practices
• design the future acquisition team structure and eventually onboard and lead team members
• receive first-time donors and guide them through a discovery process
• create a stewardship track for first-time mid-level donors
• monitor and report donor conversion and portfolio health
• cultivate and solicit mid-level donor relationships
• communicate with donors through calls, letters, and emails
• prepare proposals, reports, and briefings
• collaborate with the Development Team on prospect and donor management
• use the fundraising database and maintain records in compliance with ECFA standards.

Why this role

Nonprofit development experience is required. A BA degree or equivalent experience, 5–7 years in a similar role, and 5–7 years of ministry or nonprofit experience are preferred. Missions experience is desired, and the posting calls for a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
