The Content & Event Marketing Specialist role is hybrid in Washington, DC, with three days in the office and two days working from home. The salary range is $60,000–$68,000 per year. The Investment Company Institute’s mission is to strengthen the foundation of the asset management industry for the benefit of long-term individual investors. Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy in Strategic Communications, the specialist executes marketing plans for the institute’s business, brand, conferences, events, and webinars. The role develops audience-focused content and promotions, coordinates event registration and communications, and uses campaign metrics to improve marketing.

What you'll do

• Execute marketing plans for conferences, workshops, webinars, and other events
• write promotional copy and website event pages
• prepare social media toolkits
• coordinate promotion and registration through Cvent
• support audience research and customer database curation
• create conference newsletters and blogs
• partner with creative colleagues on video promotions
• track metrics and KPIs.
