Dietary Supervisor

What you'll do

• Evaluate dietary staff at least annually
• inspect the kitchen daily and refrigeration units weekly
• oversee food production
• hire and train personnel and provide counseling or discipline as needed
• prepare work schedules and cover daily call-ins
• verify time cards and overtime and process department time cards for payroll
• order replacement stock and check food deliveries each Monday and Thursday
• follow safety and sanitation policy
• manage PCC and nutrition
• prepare monthly menus and committee meal-function work orders
• guide cooks and dietary helpers
• participate in budget planning and policy and procedure development
• conduct monthly in-service education and annual competency evaluations.
