The assistant teacher helps create a safe, well-kept classroom and supports children’s learning, confidence, and independence. Working with a co-teacher, the role implements lesson plans, supervises children, and maintains consistent expectations and care.

What you'll do

• Supervise a group of children and support daily classroom functions
• maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom
• provide verbal recognition and consistent behavioral expectations
• help implement lesson plans
• support children’s learning in language, literacy, science, and life skills
• follow health, safety, and childcare regulations.
