The Lead Business Analyst, VA Budget Tracking Tool role is hybrid, with two days per week in the Arlington, VA office. Compensation is $105,000–$125,000 per year. The role supports modernization of the VA’s Budget Tracking Tool. This working lead oversees requirements across Functional Implementation and Data & Integrations while directly performing business analysis. The role translates complex business, financial, and data needs into implementation-ready requirements for VIPPS, supporting configuration, integration, testing, and delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead requirements management across Functional Implementation and Data & Integrations
• guide and quality-check Business Analysts while developing requirements and artifacts
• facilitate workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs, and backlog refinement
• develop user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process flows, and data requirements
• analyze current and future processes
• support integration requirements and resolve gaps, dependencies, and stakeholder decisions
• maintain documentation in Jira, Confluence, and program repositories.
