Senior Accountant

Job overview

Senior Accountant is a hybrid role based in Saxonburg, PA, with work from home and three to four consecutive business days in the office each month. Compensation is not specified. Luxfer Magtech develops and supplies magnesium products and other specialty products for a range of markets. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant supports financial close, reporting, cost and inventory accounting, planning, and manufacturing analysis. The role provides financial insight and control support to help operational and corporate teams make informed business decisions.

What you'll do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• prepare journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports
• submit forecasts and business plans
• support audits, SOX compliance, and internal controls
• maintain standard costs and inventory accounting
• analyze manufacturing variances, margins, and inventory trends
• assist with budgeting, financial modeling, ERP improvements, and cross-functional projects
• serve as backup to the Financial Controller.
