What you'll do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient wound and ostomy care
• teach patients and families about pre- and postoperative management
• educate nursing staff through programs, in-services, and bedside teaching
• assess patients with stage three or higher pressure injuries and patients with hospital-acquired pressure injuries
• support reporting requirements and assess hospital practices to help eliminate hospital-acquired pressure injuries.
