Job overview

The Healthcare Career Planner role is based onsite in Waukesha, WI, with hybrid work options available after six months. Pay is $18–$25 per hour. The role supports Forward Careers’ NEXT healthcare workforce program, helping adults train for healthcare careers and build employment stability. Forward Careers is a nonprofit workforce development organization serving Southeast Wisconsin.

What you'll do

• Coach participants through career exploration, goal setting, training, job search, employment, and advancement
• connect participants with healthcare education and training
• identify employment and work-based learning opportunities
• provide resume, interview, job-search, and employment coaching
• coordinate supportive services and community resources
• build relationships with employers, colleges, training providers, and community organizations
• maintain participant records and program data
• follow up with participants.
