The Gel Coat Technician — Night Shift role is onsite in Sarasota, FL, Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.; hours may vary with production volume. Compensation is not specified. Marine Concepts/Design Concepts produces fiberglass molds to quality standards intended to support customer satisfaction. The technician prepares fiberglass molds and applies gel coat according to specifications, production schedules, and quality requirements. The work contributes to consistent finished surfaces and safe, efficient production in coordination with laminating, finishing, and other production teams.

What you'll do

• Prepare fiberglass molds and surfaces
• mix and apply gel coat and catalyst
• monitor thickness, color, coverage, and finish
• inspect surfaces and correct quality issues
• operate, clean, and maintain spray equipment
• handle and dispose of chemicals according to safety requirements
• maintain an organized work area and report equipment or material concerns.
