The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, NC. Pay is $10.00–$16.00 per hour. Mt. Pleasant House aims to create safe, comfortable, and vibrant communities where seniors can thrive. The assistant provides direct resident support with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and mobility while observing and reporting changes to the nursing team. The role also promotes residents’ dignity, independence, safety, and engagement in community life.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, feeding, hydration, and personal hygiene
• observe and report changes in health, behavior, or physical condition
• provide medication reminders and monitor for adverse reactions
• encourage social engagement
• maintain clean and safe living areas
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• respond to emergencies according to established procedures.
