The Commercial HVAC Service Technician is an onsite, full-time position supporting the Houston and San Antonio markets, including San Antonio, TX. Pay is up to $42 per hour, based on experience. The technician handles complex diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system optimization at large commercial and industrial facilities. The work supports reliable, efficient facility operations through chiller and controls service, accurate documentation, and customer communication.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair large-tonnage air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
• commission and start up chiller and controls systems
• resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls issues
• perform preventive maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and supporting equipment
• interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
• document service work and recommendations
• communicate with customers
• follow safety requirements, EPA standards, and company policies
• provide guidance to apprentices and junior technicians when applicable.
