The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Gig Harbor, WA. Compensation is $18.00–$23.40 per hour. The role supports children and families through a safe, inclusive classroom and Cadence Education's early childhood programs. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, the teacher supports daily classroom operations, curriculum delivery, routines, and children's physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs. The role also helps maintain safety, supervision, and licensing compliance while building positive relationships with families.

What you'll do

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom
• greet children and families
• respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans as directed
• assist the Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• communicate with families and coworkers using approved tools
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.
