Powder Coating Supervisor

What you'll do

• Supervise, schedule, and direct powder coating team members
• oversee surface preparation, pretreatment, electrostatic powder application, and curing
• monitor oven performance and line settings
• ensure coatings meet work instructions, prints, and customer specifications
• inspect finish quality and approve or reject parts
• partner with Quality on defect investigations and corrective actions
• train and evaluate employees and develop cross-training plans
• coordinate preventive maintenance
• manage attendance, timecards, and corrective action documentation
• manage powder and chemical inventory and material usage
• track department KPIs
• lead Lean, 5S, and standard work improvements
• enforce safety, PPE, lockout/tagout, and environmental requirements.
