The Packager — 1st, 2nd, and Weekend Shifts role is onsite in Smyrna, TN. Starting pay is $16.75–$18.75 per hour. The role prepares Steel Technologies’ materials for shipment to customers.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate banding equipment
• prepare skids to customer specifications
• operate packaging equipment and use a forklift or overhead crane as needed
• identify and segregate materials
• handle, load, transport, unload, and stack materials safely
• clean assigned areas
• and maintain production standards. Schedules listed are Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. for first shift
• Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m. for second shift
• and Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. for weekend shift.
