Project Designer — Revit/BIM

Job overview

The Project Designer — Revit/BIM role is onsite in Westmont, IL, with pay of $24 to $35 per hour. The designer supports projects for a precast and prefabricated concrete manufacturer, working with engineering, project management, and production teams. The role develops and coordinates models, drawings, and project documentation so designs are accurate, buildable, and aligned with customer and engineering requirements. This work supports project execution from design through fabrication and installation.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Revit BIM models and project documentation
• create and revise drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• produce shop, fabrication, and piece drawings
• coordinate design activities with engineering, project management, and production
• review designs for constructability, accuracy, and compliance
• support clash detection and drawing generation
• coordinate embeds, connections, and manufacturing requirements
• incorporate revisions
• assist with design, fabrication, and field issues
• maintain organized files and support schedules, quality, and customer requirements.

Why this role
