Field Technician — Environmental Services

Job overview

The Field Technician — Environmental Services role is onsite in Carlsbad, NM, with compensation of $22–$27 per hour. The position reports to the Field Operations Supervisor — Environmental Services and supports client field projects. The technician assists with surveys, compliance monitoring, and environmental sampling while maintaining field records and equipment. This work provides field data and operational support for environmental projects and client needs.

What you'll do

• Assist with natural resource surveys and environmental compliance monitoring
• collect water, soil, and biological samples
• record field data
• organize data and mapping under senior staff direction
• operate and maintain instruments
• perform supervised equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• transport supplies
• and mix and apply chemicals under supervision.
