The Income Tax Manager, Research & Planning role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Compass Group USA’s Income Tax Department and works with the wider Income Tax Team. The role exists to lead tax research and planning initiatives and support corporate transactions, tax controversy, and compliance. Through transaction analysis, tax planning, legislative research, audit support, and tax provision work, the manager helps the company address tax obligations and coordinate decisions across business partners.

What you'll do

• Perform due diligence, structuring analysis, agreement review, and integration support for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
• conduct tax research and planning to identify and maintain strategies
• summarize tax legislation and developments and quantify company impacts
• research and document tax return positions and business inquiries
• assist with income and franchise tax audits and dispute resolution
• assist with income tax provision and uncertain tax positions
• support special projects.
