The role supports hospital operations by cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms and common areas, completing discharge cleans, following infection-control procedures, and coordinating with nurses and staff to prepare rooms for patients.

What you'll do

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, nurses’ stations, waiting areas, hallways, and other common areas
• complete discharge cleans
• clean isolation rooms using hospital infection-control steps and appropriate PPE
• remove waste and soiled linen
• restock supplies
• use chemicals and equipment safely
• maintain an organized cart
• and report spills, damage, or safety issues.
