Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist role is full-time, onsite in Grand Junction, CO, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation is $22–$27 per hour depending on experience. The position supports the finance team of a skilled nursing and long-term care organization.

What you'll do

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable by receiving, reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices
• oversee vendor billing and reconcile statements
• match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips and verify approvals
• process weekly check runs, ACH, and electronic payments
• maintain vendor records, W-9s, and 1099 preparation
• reconcile the AP sub-ledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close
• resolve billing questions with vendors and internal departments
• provide audit documentation and reports
• follow company policies and applicable healthcare and financial regulations.
