Senior Construction Project Manager

Job overview

The Senior Construction Project Manager role is onsite in Arlington, VA. Pay is $50–$60 per hour. The position is based at the project site and includes a six-month contract duration. The role oversees construction execution and project controls to ensure work, materials, inspections, documentation, schedule, and budget align with project requirements. It coordinates contractors, inspectors, the Owner, Architect, and other stakeholders through construction and closeout.

What you'll do

• Validate products and materials against specifications
• monitor construction performance and documentation
• manage inspections and document control
• review daily reports, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• coordinate tests and inspections
• verify punch-list completion
• coordinate field activities and site meetings
• review pay applications and stored materials
• support technical evaluations and constructability reviews
• obtain required District of Columbia permits
• review schedules, track costs, manage change processes, and support closeout.
